Gordon calls himself passionate – an enthusiastic and fiery soul who believes he deserves only the best. But the rest of the forest animals know better. To them, Gordon isn’t passionate; he’s hot-tempered, short-spoken, and remarkably aggressive. No one dares to cross him – he chases even the smallest forest creatures away with his mood and sharp little teeth.

Yet no one can deny that Gordon is a true diva. In his extravagant designer bathtub, filled to the brim with shiny nuts, he enjoys life exactly as he pleases. Every nut is carefully chosen, every moment is purely for himself. Gordon is greedy and wants to keep everything to himself: a nut, a sunny spot, even the attention of passersby. The forest is his playground – but only when it suits him; the rest of the time, he leaves the other animals to their own devices.

And while the forest worries about cooperation and sharing, Gordon lounges contentedly in his tub, chatting cheerfully with the nuts around him and laughing at a world he considers nothing more than his own private playground.

Printing

Use the Bambu Studio files, or the STL files if you’re using a different slicer.
Feel free to experiment with the placement of the object – these are the positions that gave me the best results.

Gordon:

Gordon himself is fairly easy to print – use tree supports and lay him flat. For an extra fluffy effect, you can enable the fuzzy-skin option in your slicer.

Tub:

This print is a bit more challenging. Due to the rounded shape of the tub, the layer lines on the relatively flat areas can be quite visible and may need to be touched up or sanded. For this, I set the wall thickness to a minimum of 4 mm. You could also experiment with a layer height of <0.2 mm or use variable layer heights if your slicer supports it.

Feet:

De pootjes kunnen staand worden afgedrukt.

Assembly:

For assembly, Gordon can be placed into the tub. Make sure he’s positioned at the side of the tub, with the high rim at his back. Then gently lower him into place, ensuring the edges of the tub fit into the grooves of his little arms. No glue is needed for this step.

First, check each hole of the tub to make sure it’s free of burrs or other irregularities before gluing the feet of the tub. Use hard-plastic glue for this.
